Good to know
Frequently asked questions.
Still have a question? Call us at (941) 955-2620 — we're happy to help.
How much does rug cleaning cost?
Cleaning is $3.50 per square foot, based on your rug's measured size — we measure to the nearest 3 inches, with a $30 minimum per order. A custom-cut rug pad is $2.25/sq ft, and pickup & delivery is a flat $99 both ways. Use the instant estimate on our home page, and the final price is always confirmed in person at intake, once we've seen your rug's construction and condition.
Do I need an appointment to drop off?
No appointment necessary — just stop by 825 N Lime Ave during business hours and drop off your rug. We'll tag it, walk you through the estimate, and confirm pricing before any work begins.
Do you offer pickup and delivery?
Yes. We provide two-way pickup and delivery throughout Sarasota and Manatee County, with urgent pickup available for water-damaged rugs. Schedule from our estimate page or give us a call.
How long does cleaning take?
Most rugs are ready in 2–5 business days. Heavily soiled rugs, repairs, and restoration can take longer — we'll give you an expected timeline at drop-off. Need it sooner? Tell us your date and we'll work to fit it; in some cases we can turn a rug around in 48 hours.
Can you remove pet odor and urine?
In most cases, yes. We identify the odor source and apply an enzyme treatment that breaks down urine and contaminants so they can be fully washed away, rather than masked. Severity is assessed at intake and priced accordingly.
What if I'm not happy with the cleaning?
Tell us — we'll re-clean your rug at no charge. To be straight with you about what cleaning can do: no process removes every stain or returns a rug to brand-new condition. Set stains, sun fading, wear, and old dye damage can be permanent, and we'll tell you honestly at intake what to expect before any work begins.
What kinds of rugs do you clean?
Hand-woven, hand-knotted, and machine-made — Persian, Shiraz, Navajo, art-deco Chinese, wool, silk, antique, and modern pieces from any store or catalog. Not all rugs should be cleaned the same way, which is exactly why construction-specific care matters.
How often should I have my rug cleaned?
Generally every 1–3 years, depending on the rug type and how much traffic it sees. High-traffic areas and homes with pets benefit from more frequent cleaning.
Do you work with designers and dealers?
We do. We offer accounts for interior designers, rug dealers, furniture stores, realtors, and property managers, with multi-rug pricing and client-ready delivery. Reach out and we'll set you up.
